Maya Ribbands
Maya Ribbands’ father Wassadewa Goriah flew as a Wireless Operator in Sunderlands from Pembroke Dock during the Second World War
Although Maya was born after the war she remembers playing with her father’s military paraphernalia in the house. She particularly remembers his uniform being hung in her mother’s wardrobe. Unfortunately, the uniform is now lost, however, what remains the family have kindly donated to the museum.
