RAF flying ace Douglas Bader

RAF Duxford was home to famous aviator Douglas Bader of the No 19 Squadron during the Battle of Britain. While stationed at Duxford, Douglas Bader came up with the 'Big Wing' air fighting tactic, used against the Luftwaffe bombers.
