Arthur Wint
Find one of the Spitfires in H3 and H4. The Spitfire aeroplane was one of the main fighter planes used by the RAF during the Second World War.
One man who flew these planes was Arthur Wint who was born in Jamaica. He joined the RAF in 1942, won his wings in 1944 and left the RAF in 1947.
After the war, Arthur won the first Olympic gold medal for Jamaica in the 400m.
