Wing Commander Tim Elkington

Wing Commander Tim Elkington flew Hurricanes during the Battle of Britain, in Russia and from merchant ships. He served in an experimental night fighter unit and at the end of the war was posted to the Air Fighting Development Unit, where he had the opportunity to fly the Messerschmitt Bf 110.
